     My name is Josh Flores, I was born November 19, 1988. I am from El Paso, TX but currently living here in Phoenix, AZ. I am attending Estrella Mountain Community College and majoring in Culinary Studies. I am a Family man, I have a lovely wife of 5 years and 2 amazing children, 1 boy and 1 girl.

     After working as a phlebotomist for the past 7 years I was downsized in 2014. I took this opportunity as a blessing and decided to attend Culinary School; getting back to a passion of mine, cooking! From a young age I was always in the kitchen watching my mother and grandmother, learning and asking millions of questions about their techniques. I used any opportunity to broaden and enhance my culinary skills, such as cooking for family events and trying new recipes at home. Naturally I thought attending culinary school would help me expand my knowledge of cuisines. I have been working in the food industry and attending EMCC for more than a year now and I can honestly say I have never been happier.
